Ryan, leading the Karma tribe started teaching vinyasa yoga at Karma Teachers almost 6 years ago and has been a Wednesday night fixture since 2013. He sees volunteering at Karma Teachers as an amazing way to serve the community through karma yoga – a way of living that considers right action and selfless service. Ryan completed his 200-hr yoga training with the Sivananda organization in India in 2010 and regularly attends intensives and workshops with the many excellent teachers that call Vancouver home. He loves to mix travel with yoga and has practiced and trained in diverse locales including Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Mexico, Sri Lanka, Bali, Nepal, California (Esalen and Joshua Tree) and Tofino. He is committed to maintaining Karma Teachers as an open, inclusive, consent-based, low-barrier yoga space. Any requests and ideas can be sent to email@example.com.
Stepping up as a Karma Leader the way Leo’s are set, Andrew truly embraces the Karma Yoga as an embodied lifestyle. By surrendering to the Universe, Andrew leads and sees with his heart selflessly. Finding that balance between a leadership role and teacher has it’s challenges, but the lessons are learned by being in our Truth. Post graduation in 2015 from Karma Teachers’ 200hr Vinyasa training, Andrew explored further training’s consisting of Yin, Anatomy, Consciousness and multiple 200 Hour Teacher Training’s to refine his offering with true authenticity.
