Ayurveda Teacher Training - Karma Teachers

Ayurveda is a 2,000 year old ancient approach to medicine that focuses on the total health of an individual. It’s been around for centuries and has been used by many doctors to help their patients. In this course, we will take a look at some of the benefits of Ayurveda to explore how it can help you improve the health, disease prevention and overall well-being of you and your students.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a system of medicine that focuses on the individual's physical, mental and spiritual well-being. It is based on the premise that each person has a unique set of needs and that these needs can be met through a combination of traditional medical practices and scientific research.

No pre-requisite is required. There are two main types of courses: naturopathic and functional. Naturopathic courses focus on the individual's own health, while functional courses help people with specific conditions meet their everyday needs. This training will greatly enhance your education of yoga as you begin to understand how seasons, time and life cycles affect correlate to your yoga practice.
